We had Chinese food in the office today, and in keeping with their large portions per order, they gave three fortune cookies each.
My fortunes are pretty good:
1. You will be the guest of a gracious host. This is true! Saturday does find me in the midst of a social gathering with a host. Let’s just see if she’s gracious.
2. A pleasant surprise is in store for you. I love surprises!
3. Your hard work is about to pay off. Now I’m not sure of the validity of this one. This fortune came from the Peking Noodle Co. which is clearly not the same California Wok restaurant that we ordered from. So I’m a little on the fence about this one.
