The PhotoJournalist

I haven’t been to Melrose in ages. So why not turn this into a photowalk? Here’s the plan, meet at noon, grab some coffee, a sandwich perhaps, and head on out snapping photos of shoppers, shops, or anything that catches our eye. Tourist we shall be!

The meeting spot is Stir Crazy. It’s got a lot of good reviews on Yelp. Plus we can eat there too. However, it does look a bit small. If it’s busy, I’ll be on the sidewalk. Here’s the address:

Find street parking. I’m hoping we’re far off from the main part of the strip that parking around here won’t be too bad. Also, check the signage. Some streets may be permit parking only. If you would like my cell number, send me an email.

I don’t plan on doing any shopping, and neither should you. Well, you can if you’d like, but we’ll most likely move on without you. One thing I learned from the Olvera Street walk was that traveling through congested sidewalks made keeping the group together really difficult. However, depending on the group size, we’ll stop at each corner and regroup before crossing the street.

Lastly, if we get that far, Sweet Lady Jane will be the desert destination. Their trifle was amazing! And if we do indeed get this far, this will also be the turn around point.
