I haven’t been to Melrose in ages. So why not turn this into a photowalk? Here’s the plan, meet at noon, grab some coffee, a sandwich perhaps, and head on out snapping photos of shoppers, shops, or anything that catches our eye. Tourist we shall be!

This was a fun walk with a good group. We avoided the main strip (Colorado Blvd.) and just stuck to the alleys and back streets. Sure there aren’t as many lights and flashy things, but it’s more secluded and not too many people know about these areas.

I’ve heard about this, and finally have the chance to see what it’s all about. I’m planning on staying around the Gallery Row portion. But I’m flexible and we can do whatever. Here’s the plan:

For the sake of this post, I’m changing Photo-hike to photowalk. Sure we’ll be walking, but instead of trails and overhanging brush, you’ll be greeted with walkways and cool suspended lights.
